Tehuitzingo Deli
This 10th Ave spot is shielded by a Mexican grocery store. However, don’t let the facade fool you. The kitchen throws out some excellent tacos, burritos, and quesadillas filled with everything from pork ear, to al pastor, to barbacoa.
Rudy’s
Rudy’s is a historic, no-frills local dive bar with some unique New York City charm. Every time you get a drink you get a free hotdog. Rudy’s may be the opposite of Per Se, but we love it just as much.
Briciola
Briciola is a tiny space that expertly pairs fine Italian wines with small tapas plates. You’ll love the cozy brick-walled atmosphere, which makes it an ideal date spot.
Pio Pio
Peruvian food. Never had it? You have to give it a try. The chicken, avocado salad, and yucca fries are all amazing. Just make sure to ask for extra green sauce and be ready for the loud tunes; this place bumps all day long.
Natsumi
Natsumi serves up innovative modern Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price (reasonable for a top-notch sushi den, expect to spend $30-60). Be sure to check out their creative cocktails like the Sapphire Crush.

Per Se is one of the best restaurants in the world, so be ready to open your wallet. At Per Se, you can choose from either of the tasting menus, the chef’s tasting menu, or the vegetable tasting menu. This 3-Michelin Star fine dining experience will not disappoint.
